PRACTICAL INFORMATION

BEGINNING OF THE WORKSHOP: Thursday 5 June at 9:00 AM 

Participants are asked to arrive on Wednesday 4 afternoon or evening. We will organise a small reception on Wednesday evening.

END OF THE WORKSHOP: Friday 6 June at 4:00 PM

FEES

Normal fee : 530 € all taxes inc.

PhD  Student Fee : 450 € all taxes inc.

The fees include:

-       partipation in the workshop

-       2 nights (from 4 june evening to 6 june morning) + breakfast at the Couvent-Royal

-       lunches and coffee breaks 5 & 6 June,

-       dinner on 5 June.

The fees do NOT include :

-       dinner on Wednesday 4 (possibility to have dinner in Le Couvent Royal or at other places in the village of St Maximin)

-       transfer from railway station or airport to the Couvent Royal

PAYMENT

We invite you to pay preferably online by credit card.

For other ways of payment, please contact catherine.lucas@mines-paristech.fr

Invoice will be sent by e-mail a few days after the payment. Please indicate carefully the billing address in the registration form.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

There is no extra charge for the room. You only have to pay for breakfast and tourist tax.

Breakfast : 14 €

Tourist tax : about 4,50 €/day

Spouses are welcome to the lunches and dinner. We just ask you to inform us a few days beforehand

Lunch : 33 €

Dinner : 59 €

For all those extra charges, you’ll pay The Couvent Royal on the spot.

TRANSFER TO St MAXIMIN

- For people arriving in Marseille Airport or Aix-en-Provence TGV, a transfer to the Couvent Royal will be provided by the workshop organization (additional cost : about 70 €).

Arrival: we intend to organize two buses in the Wednesday afternoon, one around 3:00 PM and one around 6:00 PM.

Departure: a bus will leave the Couvent Royal Friday at 4:30 PM.

If you fly through Marseille Airport, we recommend you to choose a flight with departure time after 8 PM since transfer between the Couvent Royal and the Airport may last between 1 or 2 hours depending on traffic. For people spending the Friday night at the Couvent Royal, a bus transfer will be organized on Saturday, departure time around 10:00AM.

We hope you can plan your travel in accordance with this schedule and we will try to be flexible to adapt to your needs as much as possible. We will get back to you by mid April to confirm the organization of bus transfer.

- For people arriving in Nice Airport , we recommend to rent a car at the airport since the distance to Saint Maximin is 134 km. For participants interested in this solution, we will be happy to circulate information in order to facilitate the sharing of costs for rental cars. There are also public bus, but they are not very convenient

STAY ONE NIGHT MORE

The workshop ends on Friday 6,  4 PM

If you intend to stay after the workshop, the Couvent Royal will propose a special rate of 91 € in standard room, and 119 € in superior room (breakfast 14€ not included).
